Office cubicle organizer


The Hanging Desk/Cubicle/Wall Organizer from Hangabowls will be featured in the 2011 International Home & Housewares Show New Product Showcase. The product hangs over cubicle walls but can also be mounted on a wall. It holds pens, pencils, highlighters and other office supplies. The organizer is available in sophisticated office colors (black, beige, dark brown, white and gray) and colors suitable for children and teens (pink, purple, blue and green).

Desktop personal heater

Vornado has added three new colors to its VH101 Personal Vortex Heater, a desktop product. In addition to the original black, the colors are an airy grayish-white called “Birch,” a complex red called “Cinnamon” and a medium-purple hue named “Fig”  (see photos, below).



The VH101 is designed to circulate heat specifically around one's personal space – making it suitable for desktop, tabletop or under desk heating applications. The heater has two heat settings-375 and 750 Watts. The cool-touch case that doesn’t get hot even after extended operation; a tip-over switch immediately cuts the heat and fan if the heater tips.

The VH101 is backed by a three-year limited warranty.

Danish Modern office furniture

Jesper Office, a designer of home and small office furniture, presented its new Jesper Danish Modern 50 line at the spring High Point market. The Jesper 50 office line combines unique Danish classic styling with modern features. Classic wood-frame architecture, tapered legs and tongue-and-groove craftsmanship characterize the line.
The furniture includes curvaceous executive and student desks, a top-sliding credenza, bookcases and matching desk accessories - organizers, file boxes and waste baskets. The new pieces, available in teak and walnut, feature wire management, a sliding writing pad, laptop storage as well as an under-desk CPU holder.

Karim Rashid cutting tools for kitchen, home office

The aptly named Slice offers a wide range of tools for peeling vegetables, opening mail (above) and cutting paper. All but the letter opener are designed by Karim Rashid (see below). The items use ceramics for cutting, which stays sharper than high-carbon steel, the company says.

Contemporary style indoor and outdoor furniture








At the High Point market, Euro Style offered complete room settings for the office, bar-dining room, living room, and outdoor spaces.
Office furniture features high-gloss black lacquered engineered wood with a chromed steel frame/base. Items are available in black or white lacquer.
The Corbusier lounge has a stainless steel frame with a black hammered lacquer base. It has an upholstered pad and neckrest in black leather, black/white cowhide, or brown/white cowhide.
The SweetLoft outdoor line includes stacking chairs in polished cast aluminum and tables with aluminum bases and stainless steel square tiltable top.
SweetLoft bar (inset) includes the Stacy bar table in engineered wood top, black-stained veneered ash, chromed steel supports and heavy marble base. The Carina bar stools in woven leather back have a smooth leather seat and chromed steel frame.
